 Some Sites I like I'm reading |
Blogging vs. Business Morning kids. Im happy to report that some nice soul out there actually had a content question for me that he sent over the weekend. In fact, nice anonymous soul, may your karma increase due to your perfect timing of sending me this question! Yes, yes, some shit has the hit the fan, which I would rather discuss later, so I will get all philosophical to answer YOUR burning question Which is, basically, how do I believe this blog effects my business returns? Okay, we can take this from two stances: it either increase business or decreases business. I will start with my theories on the latter and go to former. Personally, it wont surprise me if accidentally tripping through Google you find this blog in addition to my escort site, put two and two together, and dont want to see me. Im hugely public, have been since I was a child, and I prefer discussing matters that generally dont see daylight in the full outdoors. I try to keep some unknowns in this narrative, such as names, but once you find the blog you know that theres a good chance you will be exposed. Of course, not everyone is discussed here. In fact, I find it gets repetitive to always write about my clients, when some are, in fact, rather dull and similar. So, I often omit descriptions and discussions of sessions when they are simple, normal, or if requested. Yes, dear sir, you can request to not have your male ego trampled upon as you so hinted. That leads me to another point, though, I dont believe that I come down hard on my clients. If you mention that you read my blog, I usually incline to a favorable review if I dont take a direct liking to you regardless. Take Dan, again, for an example. He lives with my descriptions of our sex life daily, but most of the time when I am mad, dissatisfied, or just plain bored with our relationship or sex life I tend to give it a positive spin. Weve had conflicts over my posts in the blog, and I have retracted some comments previously, so its not like I dont know he reads it. If I know my clients read this website and check for their reviews, I am much more likely to mention you and highlight the good aspects of your performance rather than the bad. Of course, if you dont mention that you read my blog and wait silently to see if I review you, then you will probably be mentioned only if you were distinctive in some way. A few I mentioned had different cocks from what I have seen, different scenes to prep us for sex, and just plain different desires, such as tomorrows review of Mr. Poopy, which I recommend to NOT read me over breakfast. This means that if you know I do reviews sometimes you may be on your guard to provide me with a more entertaining time in hopes of making the cut. This leads me to my first point for increasing business, the snippets and reviews I write of clients may heighten the encounter for some. Some men way want to try and beat their peers that Ive seen previously in the week. Others may want to have a 15 second piece of internet fame, which can last far longer thanks to people who Google the archive. Of course, because its all anonymous, these men can keep their distance and safety while still knowing more about what I really think about our encounter. Yes, I did admit to spinning some of the stories more positively when I am conscious of the audience, but I think my clients know when I am with them if I really enjoy their company, which is usually the case, or if I am just waiting for them to drop the money and leave. For some, I can see that this challenge or narcissistic/voyeuristic interest in their performance might give more charge to the encounter. Youre doing something private, fun between two adults, but yet its public, its exposed, but not completely, just enough. In a way, its like my life, walking between several boundaries but, hopefully, crossing none. If you fear semi publicity, or if you fear potential rejection, then my blog will probably drive you away, perhaps causing me a loss of business. Of course, the only way you can find my blog from the message board would be to Google it, which takes thought. I would hope that people just see the working site in my posts, click there, and perhaps never travel here. Its far easier because that site doesnt cross link back here, which makes me think my identity can be somewhat hidden unless youre ruthless. Overall, I think the impact of my blog is negligible. It probably scares off more people than it tempts, but I need it to communicate with the world. I honestly have no idea how many people are regular readers (please speak up or pay for my Gold membership if you are) so I dont know if I am making an impact, but I do find my site as part of message board communications on sex work and sex workers from time to time, so I think its important that I keep talking. Im also an extremely rare woman in general, educated, pretty, open-minded, lustfully liberated, nerdy, and generally content so I think my voice should be heard. So, dont worry kids, Ill NEVER be silent. Daphne |
