More BD Buddies Okay, the girl from the flat led Dan and I to a TNG pub crawl Saturday night. It was a pretty good night. Some of the local bars sucked and, as liberal as Ann Arbor thinks it is, walking around leashed to someone else still gets people's attention. Many asked if we were a costume party, especially in such sports pubs as The Arena, but we were bold and told them what we really were. People laughed as I got flogged and generally it was an interesting evening. A lot of women showed to the event, many of whom seem bi/les friendly. I'm glad about that :) I might have some new open minded friends ;) but I should probably be a gent and stop hitting on anything with legs. ahh my lesbian libido faces hurdles that my testosterone tries to overcome. I do feel bad, however, that I had a gender mixup throughout the evening. I thought this one person was a short butch dyke with possibly a dominant bent. When we checked the group on Sunday she turned out to be a he and, well, I just hope I didn't embarass myself too much. Dan got way drunk that evening too and I won a cherry in being the first sober girl who ever walked him home. I felt a little uneasy with him holding my leash but we managed. He wanted to rest a lot during the three block walk, but i didn't blame him. At the outset he accidentally fell off a 4 ft ledge onto pavement earning a goose egg on his head. He claimed he was fine and told me how much he loved me before yelling "I know where we are!" every step of the journey. Near the end he made up his mind that he was peeing on Tio's, the resteraunt next door, instead of walking the six steps into the apartment. I couldn't convince him otherwise, "I'm peeing here! Go inside!" and I'm unsure if he did to let me pee (I really had to go and I did whine at him) or if he just wanted to pee outside and it couldn't wait. Luckily, he got in quick and passed out on only one side of the bed. I got sleep and ended up with neck cramps, which I countered with Advil. Sunday was spent doing very little and enjoying the storm. as for today, I need to look busy or find something to do because I finished all of last week's work and this is going to be hell week, the last week of my trial period. *ugh* Yay for the morning commute! I got me some Uncle Frank Zappa! Daphne |
